GRILL BUYERS BEWARE
This is a story about " Jack & Dianne " ( names changed to protect the innocent ). They wanted to get a good quality gas BBQ for their home. With their love of cooking outdoors throughout our canadian seasons, they knew that a solid stainless steel grill was a must have. They wanted to invest in something that they could use for the long-term, and not have to worry about repairs for many years. Throughout their research, they found a big box store that they trusted, and a brand name they recognized. When they purchased their Amana for close to $1,000.00 they thought that this grill was going to be a fixture in their backyard for 10+ years...
Here is their BBQ after only 3 years...
Still looks pretty good on the outside...let's look inside...
Yikes!!! This is what happens to poor quality stainless steel after only 3 years!!!
Look at that interior...the rust has eaten right through the metal!
This is what happens to metal that is only painted, there is no protection!
